Business Development Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Selling our consulting services and managed services into Midsize and Enterprise companies within a specific set of industries and/or regions 

  • Ability to effectively lead a strategic and complex sales process and execute close plans 

  • Achieve assigned appointment and revenue targets 

  • Understanding of industry trends and client needs, develop and deliver compelling value propositions 

  • Identify leads via targeted account lists, campaigns, networking with clients and/or channel partners, conferences and other events 

  • Develop executive relationships within a defined region and/or Industry Community 

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities 

  • Identify a customer’s business needs and articulate what type of solutions can address those needs 

  • Effectively build client presentations and prepare proposals 

  • Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process 

  • Nurturing relationships with targeted prospects via various communications channels including social media and email 

  • Leading prospect follow-up, arranging calls/meetings with prospects and managing multiple business development engagements 

  • Researching prospects to identify targets for outbound activities 

Required Experience & Skills: 

  • Five+ years of successful business development experience 

  • Demonstrated success with a solution selling / C-Level relationship selling approach 

  • Ability to work well with clients both individually as well as in a highly collaborative team 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills 

  • Excellent attention to detail, well organized and strong time management skills 

  • Strong understanding of Oracle and/or OneStream On-Premise & Cloud Applications: ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM and other BI solutions. 

  • Experience in territory planning and territory development in an emerging market 

  • Strategic thinker, proven experience navigating through a complex sales process 

  • Strong business communication and customer management skills. 

  • Proven success selling direct to client in addition to co-selling with the Partner Channel

Principal Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans 

  • Translate business needs into practical solutions 

  • Build best practices within planning, forecasting and reporting processes and implementing new performance reporting, planning and forecasting processes within the Oracle and/or OneStream EPM suite 

  • Provide functional finance expertise coupled with technical knowledge to customers 

  • Manage multiple project teams simultaneously at disparate locations 

  • Identify and proactively mitigate project risks 

  • Foster working relationships with client personnel at all levels 

  • Facilitate and lead client meetings 

  • Develop team-work plans and coordinate project team activities 

  • Manage client deliverables, project budget, and quality assurance 

  • Coach and mentors Analysts and Associates 

  • Actively participate in practice and business development initiatives 

  • Develop statement of work and manages change orders 

Required Experience & Skills: 

  • At least 5 years’ experience with the Oracle and/or OneStream technology stack of products 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users 

  • Prior team management experience, experience managing people (mentoring, delegating, reviewing work, and coaching staff) 

  • Experience with automation scripts 

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in, and SmartView 

  • Excellent written and communication skills 

  • Knowledge of financial process and functional processes 

  • Strong technical documentation skills 

  • Financial reporting and analysis experience 

  • Understanding of the financial close cycle, planning and forecasting processes, and related best practices 

  • Experience creating consolidated financial statements for public and private companies 

  • Understanding of joint ventures, direct and indirect ownership structures and equity pickup
